The Myth of “Not Enough”

Hey Reader,

When was the last time you said, “I don’t have time to…” or “I can’t afford to…”?
If you’re like most of us, probably within the last 24 hours - or 24 minutes. 🙄

“I don’t have enough…” is a common component of feeling stuck, whether it's personal, professional, emotional, financial, relational, or spiritual. Beneath every version of that statement lives one sneaky, universal belief: lack.

Not enough knowledge. Not enough experience. Not enough time, money, confidence, energy, love, worth, value, or support.
Whatever the form, the story is the same - I’m not enough, or I don’t have enough.

Yes, sometimes circumstances are real - resources are limited, timing is off - but more often, “not enough” is code for uncertainty, fear, or misalignment. It’s easier to say I can’t than I’m scared, I’m unsure, or It’s just not that important to me right now.

Try this: next time you catch yourself saying “I don’t have time” or “I can’t afford it,” pause and ask,

“Is that really true? Or is this about willingness, priorities, or fear?”

Be honest with yourself. You’ll usually find it’s not about lack at all - it’s about choice.

Still arguing with me in your head? Perfect. That means you’re close. 😉

If you truly believe it’s about time or money, do a quick reality check:
How much did you spend at Starbucks this week? Or Amazon? How long did you scroll on Instagram or binge watching Netflix?

No shame! None of those things are wrong - they just make a point: We always find the means for what matters most - even if what matters is avoiding discomfort.

But every time we tell the story of “not enough,” we reinforce it.
Lack attracts lack - and we just get more of the same.

So next time you hear yourself say “I don’t have…”, try shifting it to:

“I’m not willing.”
“I don’t choose to.”
or even, simply — “No, thank you.”

It’s honest. It’s freeing. It's empowering! And it pulls you out of lack and into alignment.

When your words match your Truth, your energy rises - and life starts to respond in kind.

Now go get ’em, Tiger! 🐅

So much love,❤️

Hi Reader, Welcome to February's Soul Notes! I’ve been sitting with something and it finally clicked this weekend - mid coffee, of all places. ☕️ I’ve been stuck. Not in a “my life is falling apart” way. But in that way where you know something’s off, but you can’t quite put your finger on it. I kept trying to figure it out and shape it into something that made sense, but the harder I tried, the flatter it felt. Here’s what finally landed: I wasn’t stuck because I couldn't figure it out. I...

Hi Reader! I love, LOVE the energy of a new year - a clean slate filled with so many possibilities... But before I rush into setting intentions or laying out plans, I always take some time to bless the year I’m leaving - for everything it taught me, revealed to me, and refined in me - so I can carry that growth forward with clarity and aligned energy. Because here are two truths we often forget: What we do anywhere is what we do everywhere. And what we do consistently is more unconscious than...

Hi Reader, Can you feel that? That steady hum beneath the holiday rush - the one that sounds like something new is coming? December always feels like a sacred pause to me - even in all the hustle and bustle of the season (which I also love!) - there's an unmistakable nudge to slow down, listen in, and remember Who I Am beneath all the doing. It’s the space between the wisdom of the year’s lessons - and the pull toward what's to come. If this year stretched you, softened you, or cracked...
